Job Description
As a Build and Integration Testing Lead on our team, you ll work with software that rewrites the rules of what s possible in the pursuit of making transportation safer, greener and more connected. In your daily job you will:
- Extensive work experience in building, integrating, and automating software components in the Automotive Infotainment Domain, Telematics, and Cluster. Proficient in managing teams and integrating Customer libraries, with knowledge of Branching and Merging Strategies.
- Hands-on experience in Python Programming, C, CAPL, and adept at utilizing debuggers, simulators, Vector CANalyzer, Vector CANoe, and other related tools. Familiarity with Linux, Android, and QNX systems, including configuration, command line usage, and shell scripting.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, taking complete ownership of building blocks. Demonstrated ability as a good team player, following agile development methodologies and ASPICE practices in the software development life cycle. Experience in interacting with Customers [OEMs], suppliers, and proficient in communication protocols such as CAN/CANFD, LIN, UDS, Automotive ETHERNET, DoIP.
- Highly self-motivated and energetic professional with excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Adaptable to changes in project schedules, ensuring efficient project management and successful outcomes.
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- 9-15 Years of experience in Testing and Required qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Software, Electricals, Electronics, Instrumentation, Information Technology or Telecommunication.
Bonus points if you have experience in any of the following areas:
- Define Continuous SW Integration process including merge gate checks
- Define and track KPI for successful Integration & Test scope (ASPICE SWE.5 & SWE.6) with multiple SW scrum teams
- Work closely with Project Owner for planning variant management & branching strategy
- Responsible for resolving SW Integration dependencies and release of the SW/binaries
- Drive any failures related to build/smoke test/ integration tests to resolution
- Plan, monitor and manage your time effectively against your targets
- Regularly attend customer meetings and test drives (including multi-day)
- Local support of prototype vehicle setups Acceptance drives of systems for test vehicles
- Test Bench support
- Ability to drive the team for automation
