Job Description
- Position Overview We need an experienced System Integration and Test Automation Expert to join our Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system development team. The ideal candidate should bring extensive testing expertise to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of our advanced transit solutions. As a System Integration and Test Automation Expert, they will lead testing efforts across our PRT system components, designing and implementing comprehensive test automation frameworks to ensure system quality and reliability. They will be responsible for developing automated testing solutions using Robot Framework and Jenkins to validate complex integrated systems within our transit infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Robot Framework for our PRT systems. Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to support continuous testing and integration. Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test strategies for complex system integration scenarios. Develop comprehensive automation scripts to test PRT system components including vehicles, stations, control systems, and network infrastructure. Perform system integration testing to validate end-to-end functionality across mechanical, electrical, and software components. Conduct performance testing, load testing, and reliability testing for critical PRT subsystems. Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, hardware engineers, and operations staff to resolve complex issues. Generate detailed test reports and metrics to track quality trends and testing progress. Maintain testing environments and test data management systems. Participate in requirements analysis to ensure testability of new features and system enhancements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. 4+ years of professional experience in software testing and test automation. Demonstrated expertise with Robot Framework for test automation. Proficient with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration practices. Experience testing complex integrated systems with hardware and software components. Strong knowledge of test automation best practices and methodologies. Ability to design comprehensive test strategies for complex transportation systems. Experience with API testing, system integration testing, and end-to-end testing. Strong programming/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar languages). Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. Strong documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with transit systems, intelligent transportation systems, or PRT technology. Knowledge of additional testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or Postman. Experience with version control systems (Git) and issue tracking systems (JIRA). Background in embedded systems testing or IoT device testing. Knowledge of safety-critical system testing and relevant standards (IEC 61508, EN 50128, etc.) Experience with database testing and SQL. Understanding of networking protocols and communication systems. Experience with agile development methodologies. Relevant certifications (ISTQB, etc.) Benefits Comprehensive Health Insurance.
