The ideal candidate should have a strong network of key doctors and healthcare professionals across the southern market of India and a proven track record of driving sales and market expansion. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets in the southern region. Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, strengthen market presence, and expand the companys reach in key cities across South India. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key cardiologists, diabetologists, endocrinologists, and other healthcare professionals in the region. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team to drive performance and achieve sales objectives. Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Collaboration with Marketing & Medical Teams: Work closely with the marketing and medical teams to execute brand strategies, CMEs, doctor engagements, and awareness programs. Sales Reporting & Compliance: Prepare regular sales reports, track KPIs, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Key Requirements: Experience: 12 to 20 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in the cardiac and diabetes segments. Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the southern Indian pharmaceutical market, including Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and other key cities. Doctor Network: Well-connected with leading cardiologists, diabetologists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the region. Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and managing sales teams with a focus on performance and business growth. Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement effective sales strategies. Communication & Negotiation Skills: Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Qualification: Bachelors degree in pharmacy, Science, or Business Administration; an MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred.
