Job Description
You will be responsible for positively influencing customers prescribing behavior to achieve sales targets, develop territory, and build strong customer relationships with the objective of maximizing sales volume and market share of designated products in a given territory.
What Youll Do
As a Key Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing market positioning strategies for the oncology products, along with contributing to building the knowledge and capabilities of HCPs at a local level. You will work closely with the sales team to deliver timely sales targets and ensure the creation of robust stakeholder relationships.
Key Duties and Accountabilities
Account Strategy and Plans
Identify opportunities to improve the positioning of the Oncology products at a local level.
Collaborate with the sales manager to develop local strategies and business plans to meet targets and improve positioning.
Create Deep Stakeholder Relationships
Engage Oncology HCPs about approved indications, product efficacy/safety profiles, and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing.
Establish and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
Share stakeholder insights to enhance product development, marketing, and sales efforts.
Build Capability and Knowledge in Healthcare Ecosystem
Build knowledge of the Oncology value proposition and product efficacy among MDT and DMU stakeholders.
Utilize different communication techniques and channels to enhance knowledge in MDT and DMU.
Conduct science-based discussions with HCPs about the products.
Organize multidisciplinary workshops for physicians and healthcare professionals.
Coordinate effective speaker programs with physician advocates and KOLs.
Deliver on Plans and Achieve Sales Goals on Budget
Drive sales performance to meet or exceed expectations and manage assigned budgets.
Promote the Oncology brands using fair balance messaging and appropriate promotional tools.
Ensure optimal use of the products in line with national/local guidelines and product licenses.
Be Compliant
Complete all training requirements, including product examinations.
Comply with external regulations and internal policies.
Adhere to the Code of Ethics, Global External Interactions Policy, and Privacy Policy, especially when interacting with Patient Groups.
Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Essential
University Science graduate.
3+ years of sales experience.
Experience in super-specialty/oncology preferred.
Strong product knowledge.
Ability to build and nurture strategic relationships.
Comprehensive understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Effective influencing and communication skills.
Proficiency in customer management.
Strong commercial acumen.
Proven selling skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to manage complexity with maturity.
