Job Description
: Surgical Procedures:Perform laparoscopic surgeries, such as cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal), appendectomy, hernia repair, hysterectomy, colectomy, and others, according to established medical protocols.
Utilize laparoscopic instruments and video cameras to visualize and manipulate organs with precision.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical team members to ensure coordinated and effective surgical interventions.
Patient Consultation and Evaluation:
Meet with patients to assess their medical conditions, discuss treatment options, and provide informed consent for surgeries.
Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations, including reviewing medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, and determining the feasibility of laparoscopic surgery.
Educate patients about the surgical procedure, potential risks, and expected outcomes.
Address patients' concerns and answer their questions regarding the surgical process.
Postoperative Care and Follow-up:
Monitor patients during the recovery period after surgery and provide appropriate postoperative care instructions.
Evaluate and manage any complications or adverse reactions that may arise after surgery.
Conduct postoperative follow-up appointments to assess the healing progress and ensure the patient's well-being.
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and physiotherapists, to facilitate patient recovery and rehabilitation.
Documentation and Record-keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients, including surgical reports, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation. Continuing Education and Professional Development:
Stay updated with advancements in laparoscopic surgical techniques, equipment, and relevant medical research.
Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in laparoscopic surgery.
Participate in peer discussions and engage in professional networks to exchange ideas and best practices
