Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our perfumery company's laboratory team. The ideal candidate will assist in the research, development, and quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality fragrances. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a passion for fragrance creation, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct laboratory tests and experiments to analyze raw materials and finished products. Assist in the formulation and development of new fragrances. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Prepare samples for sensory evaluation and perform olfactory assessments. Record and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with chemists and perfumers to support ongoing research projects. Document and report any deviations or abnormalities in test results. Participate in training and development programs to stay updated with industry trends and technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field. Proven experience of 10+ years working in a laboratory environment, preferably within the fragrance or cosmetics industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficient in using laboratory instruments and software. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of safety and regulatory guidelines in the laboratory setting. Preferred Skills: Experience in olfactory evaluation and sensory analysis. Familiarity with GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) and other analytical techniques. Understanding of fragrance raw materials and their properties.,
