Cath lab Staff Nurse Job in Gleneagles @ Gleneagles Global

Job Description

1. Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology: Understanding the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, including the heart, blood vessels, and related structures. 2. Cardiac Catheterization Procedures: Knowledge of various cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional cardiology techniques. 3. Hemodynamic Monitoring: Competency in hemodynamic monitoring, including the interpretation of pressure waveforms, cardiac output, and other parameters during cardiac procedures. 4. Patient Assessment: Conducting thorough assessments of patients scheduled for cath lab procedures, considering their cardiac history, comorbidities, and any specific needs. 5. Pre-Procedure Preparation: Preparing patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, explaining the process, obtaining informed consent, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. 6. Intra-Procedure Assistance: Assisting cardiologists and other healthcare professionals during cath lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. 7. Cardiac Medications: Understanding and administering cardiac medications used during and after cath lab procedures, including antiplatelet agents and anticoagulants. 8.
