Job Description

    The Zonal Manager will be responsible for driving sales, developing strategic partnerships, and managing the overall operations for the South India region. The role demands a deep understanding of the agriculture equipment market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain key client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets. Identify new market opportunities and build partnerships with dealers, distributors, and key stakeholders. Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives. Ensure team members meet their sales targets through regular performance reviews. Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with farmers, dealers, and agricultural institutions. Address customer queries, concerns, and provide product demonstrations as required. Product Knowledge & Training: Maintain thorough knowledge of the companys product line and services. Organize training sessions for team members and dealers to improve product awareness. Marketing & Promotion: Plan and execute promotional activities like field demonstrations, trade shows, and product launches. Collaborate with the marketing team for effective regional campaigns. Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed sales performance reports, forecasts, and competitor analysis to the National Sales Head. Monitor key metrics like sales volume, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. Key Requirements: Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Engineering, or Business Administration (MBA preferred). Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales and marketing within the agriculture or farm equipment industry. Proven track record of managing regional sales teams and achieving targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
