Job Description

Position Description A CNC programmer writes code to automate CNC & TURNING machines that cut and finish metal, Castings or alluminium such as lathes, grinders and mills. Essential Skills of a CNC Programmer Experience in CAD/ CAM Programming and Machining Experience in Manufacturing of Precision Engg. Components Must be proficient with FANUC controls Understands, interprets and edits FANUC G-code programming Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling Understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets. Fixture Designing and Mfg. as per Jobs Requirements. managing one other mechanical maintenance individual Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must have superior computer programming skills. Must have good problem solving skills. Experience in process planning, and new part introduction, high precision components Knowledge of CNC PLANT work. Good math skills, especially algebra, trigonometry and physics. Must be able to work effectively with little or no supervision. Knowledge of safety measures pertinent to each job assignment.
