Job Description

  1. Transaction Processing: Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, check cashing, and other financial transactions, adhering to bank policies and procedures.
  2. Account Maintenance: Update customer account information, such as address changes, contact details, and beneficiary updates, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
  3. Cash Management: Manage cash drawers, reconcile cash transactions, and maintain proper cash limits as per bank guidelines.
  4. Document Verification: Verify customer identification documents, signatures, and other necessary paperwork to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and prevent fraud.
  5. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries, addressing complaints, and offering assistance with banking products and services.
  6. Compliance and Security: Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and other legal requirements.
  7. Loan Processing: Assist customers with loan applications, review loan documentation, and collaborate with the loan department to process and fund approved loans.
  8. Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input data into banking systems, maintain transaction records, and generate reports as required.
  9. Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, account errors, and other issues by collaborating with appropriate departments and escalating complex problems as needed.
  10. Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell bank products and services to customers, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the institution.
