Job Description
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies to meet company goals and objectives. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities.
- Team Management: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets. Provide training, support, and performance feedback to ensure the team's success.
- Sales Forecasting: Monitor and analyze sales performance and forecast sales growth. Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Act as a point of escalation for complex customer issues or complaints.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including generating leads, prospecting, and expanding the customer base. Establish relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Sales Meetings and Presentations: Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment on sales initiatives, product offerings, and customer satisfaction.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor individual and team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions to ensure sales targets are met. Implement sales incentives and motivational programs.
- Market Research: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor offerings to adjust sales tactics and strategies accordingly.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, customer feedback, and team performance. Present these reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
