Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled and experienced Laptop/MacBook Technician with a strong background in chip-level repairs for laptop motherboards, specifically MacBook. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of diagnostic tools, fault finding techniques, and the ability to repair complex issues at the IC level. If you're passionate about fixing MacBooks and have expertise in board-level repairs, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities: 1. Chip Level Repairs on MacBook and laptop motherboards. 2. IC Replacements and component-level repair on main boards. 3. Diagnose and repair faults using Multimeter and Oscilloscope (CRO). 4. IC Reballing using BGA Rework Station. 5. Remove and Replace ICs using Hot Air Gun and SMD Rework Tools. 6. Soldering/desoldering components with Soldering Iron and SMD Tools. 7. Work with IRDA (Infrared Rework Station) to remove and reflow ICs. 8. Analyze and troubleshoot Laptop Motherboard Schematics and Block Diagrams. 9. Perform Motherboard Circuit Tracing to identify faults and damaged areas. 10. Repair and replace MOSFETs, capacitors, and other components. 11. Follow best practices and safety protocols while working with electronic components and tools. Skills & Requirements: 1. Proven experience in Chip-Level Repairs for laptops and MacBooks. 2. Strong expertise in IC Replacements, Reballing, and BGA Rework. 3. Proficient in using Multimeter and Oscilloscope (CRO) for fault diagnostics. 4. Experience with Soldering Iron, Hot Air Gun, SMD Rework Stations, and IRDA. 5. Solid understanding of Laptop Motherboard Block Diagrams and circuit analysis. 6. Knowledge of MOSFETs and other critical laptop components. 7. Ability to perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner with high attention to detail. 8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Ideal Candidate: 1. Previous experience in similar activities. 2. Background in electronics or a related field. 3. Certifications or training in electronics/repair would be a plus. 4. A passion for technology and a strong commitment to quality work. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple repairs simultaneously.
