Job Description
- Educational Qualification: MBA (Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics) preferred Six Sigma Certification (Green/Black Belt) is a plus Roles & Responsibilities: Strategic & P&L Management: Manage and optimize P&L for logistics operations. Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service excellence. Transportation & Logistics Operations: Oversee first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile logistics. Ensure smooth courier & cargo operations across service centers. Vendor & Partner Management: Identify, negotiate, and onboard logistics vendors & 3PL providers. Conduct vendor performance reviews and ensure SLA compliance. Air Cargo & Freight Forwarding: Manage air freight operations, ensuring on-time connectivity & transit compliance. Liaise with airlines, cargo partners & customs clearance teams. Fleet & Route Optimization: Plan & optimize transportation networks to improve cost efficiency. Implement route optimization & tracking for better fleet management. Operational Excellence & Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO, regulatory, and safety norms. Implement SOPs for cargo handling & minimize RTO (Return to Origin). Technology & Process Improvement: Leverage technology for tracking, forecasting & automation in logistics. Improve warehouse & hub operations through Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Team Management & Leadership: Lead regional logistics teams, ensuring high productivity & training. Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, customer service, and procurement teams.
