- Job Title: Assistant Cinematographer Location: Pune, Kharadi (WFO) Experience: 1 to 2 yrs Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Assistant Cinematographer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have a passion for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of camera operations, lighting techniques, and post-production processes. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Assist the lead cinematographer in setting up and operating various cameras and equipment. Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and expectations. Ensure proper lighting and framing for each shot to maintain visual continuity and enhance storytelling. Manage and maintain camera equipment and accessories. Assist in post-production tasks such as footage organization, editing support, and color grading. Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to contribute innovative ideas. Requirements: Proven experience as an Assistant Cinematographer or similar role with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in operating DSLR, cinema cameras, and other filmmaking equipment. Knowledge of lighting techniques and experience with different lighting setups. Familiarity with post-production processes and software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Cinematography, Film Production, or a related field. Experience in handling documentary filmmaking or narrative storytelling. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
