Hiring: Product Manager / Product Lead (Commercial Line Underwriter)

Location: Chennai
Industry: General Insurance

Key Responsibilities:
Manage Group Health (GMC) & Personal Accident (PA) Referrals and Quotes.
Ensure consistency in underwriting processes and adherence to improve turnaround time (TAT) for quotes.
Handle submissions and issue resolutions for Group Health & PA products.
Analyze GMC & GPA claims data, review the portfolio, and manage renewals.
Collaborate closely with Sales teams, Channel Partners, and internal teams to drive profitability and growth (both top-line & bottom-line) for Group Health & PA products.
Work with IT, Operations, and Sales teams on the development of Health & PA products, ensuring smooth policy servicing.
Approve Health & PA system proposals/quotes within TAT, referred to underwriters.
Generate monthly product MIS, reports, and trackers.
Oversee product line issuance for Group Health & PA policies.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a product management role within the insurance industry, with a focus on Group Health & Personal Accident products.
Strong understanding of underwriting claims data analysis, and portfolio management.
Proven experience in working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, IT, and Operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
