QA Test Lead - Automation @ Hark Employment

Job Description

Duties -

• Lead multiple customer implementations in a Test. Lead capacity using onshore/offshore models.
• Responsible for creating Test artifacts including Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Execution Status Reports, and Defect Reports.
• Ability to create an overall test strategy and formalize the overall test plan.
• Works closely with internal and customer teams to understand business requirements, coordinate testing activities, and communicate test results.
• Lead test team in translating business requirements to test cases and test scripts
• Manage a Team of QA Analysts through all Phases of Testing - (Functional, System, Integration and User Acceptance) on a project
• Lead internal defect triage calls
• Assist in Performance Testing if required.
• Assist customer with UAT planning as needed
• Assist with UAT defect triage calls
• Liaison to customer Quality Assurance Lead
• Maintain and communicate QA metrics to internal and customer stakeholders via status/metrics reports
• Document and communicate QA-related risks to Project Management
• Interact, communicate, and follow through with development & customer teams throughout testing phase
• Ability to adapt to customer processes and integrate them into day-to-day work as needed without compromising best practices and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree
• A minimum of 7+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Automation.
• Experience with developing and implementing Testing Automation Frameworks.
• Experienced with both UI and API based testing automation.
• Experienced with automation strategies for unit testing.
• Experienced with CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Experienced with Selenium, Tosca, Postman, and other open-source automation tools.
• Experienced with Performance Testing tools like LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Software Engineering Experience.
• Agile and Scrum experience.

Desired Skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
• Excellent knowledge with development tools & integrated build systems: Eclipse IDE, Git/Jenkins
• Experience with OpenStack technologies, deployment and configuration.
