Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Daily control of batch jobs, user logs, tickets, tasks and transaction abends
Execution of Hotfixes
Analyzing and fixing error tickets
Generating error statistics
Process premiums and claims to brokers
Sending notification forms for commercial insurance
Perform plausibility loading
Transferring tickets from the ticket tool to the Kanban board
Perform table corrections
Perform development environment changes (SWITCH) (Dev / Test / Prod)
Execute batch jobs
Validate data sets for further processing (VESPA)
Consult with business department on error situations and workarounds
Implementation of requirements and design of technical solutions.
Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge and experience with Cobol and SQL
Experience in production support and operation of software
German Insurance Knowhow
Very good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Prioritization of business impact and urgency
MS Office & Jira knowledge
JCL, OPC, TWS, BETA-P, BMC, ALM
TSO, DB2
