- Job Title: QA (Manual Functional Testing, SQL) Location: Gurgaon Experience Level: 5 to 8 years Job Description: We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Manual Functional Testing and SQL to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in testing enterprise-level applications within the investment management/asset management domain. Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts for manual functional testing. Ensure comprehensive coverage of test scenarios based on business and functional requirements. Perform end-to-end testing for integrated enterprise applications. Identify, report, and track defects through the defect lifecycle. Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate database integrity and ensure data consistency. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices. Essential Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the defect lifecycle. Solid experience in manual functional testing of enterprise applications. Hands-on experience in testing applications within the investment management or asset management domain (preferred but not mandatory). Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and understand complex queries in Oracle databases. Ability to create detailed test cases, test plans, and test strategies. Experience working with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Familiarity with API testing (Postman, SOAP UI) is a plus,
