- Infosys BPM hiring for Senior Operations Manager role at Pune location Job Description for your reference: Role Designation: Senior Operations Manager Job Location: Pune Education Qualification: Full-time graduation Shifts: Flexible Experience required: 10+ years Work mode: 5 Days Work from office Requirements: Minimum 10+ years of experience in supply chain/procurement / international trading of Agri Commodities, with a focus on commodities in Consumer Goods, Retail, or Logistics industries. Fluent in Business English, with excellent communication and presentation skills; knowledge of Arabic for the current role will be an added advantage. Proven track record of delivering successful projects involving supply chain strategy and optimization including forecasting, monitoring, and tracking demand. In-depth understanding of various data sources and international indices (e.g. LSEG, Bloomberg, DJTA, BDI, BWI S&P etc.) for various Agri- commodities Experience of leveraging supply chain data for effective decision making. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable strategies and solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently from client site (international/ domestic) and offshore. Ability to run senior client workshops to understand and document business requirements. Flexible to travel both domestic and international for client and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with clients" business goals, leveraging insights from market research, competitive analysis, and industry trends. Supply Chain Proficiency: Possess a depth of foodgrains commodity supply chain knowledge including commodity forecasting, procurement, and trading to assess and recommend approaches to optimize global supply chains. Process Orientation: To drive the development of forecasting systems, data collation, function testing, training, and knowledge transfer. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including technology, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and execution. Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices sharing insights with clients and contributing to thought leadership within the organization. Project Management: Effectively manage project timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery within scope and schedule.
