Job Description
- Establish and build our PMO presence within the India office, in close coordination and collaboration with the main PMO office out of HQ
- Identify and implement project management strategies within stakeholder teams
- Identify TPM staffing gaps and grow our India PMO team into a follow-the-sun model
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and manage complex cross functional programs and projects
- Facilitate and communicate to stakeholders the process of planning and execution of cross functional roadmaps
- Work side-by-side with Engineering and Quality Assurance to scope and execute on program offerings while strictly adhering to business and compliance requirements
- Act as a Project Management Consultant to projects who do not have a dedicated Project Manager assigned
- Engage in proactive collaboration and thought leadership with PM counterparts globally
- Coordinate project work teams consisting of RD / SRE / IT blended teams using agile methodologies
- Report and present status updates for communications planning and management
- Incorporate risk mitigation strategy and contingency planning into projects
- Perform analysis that reflects actual vs. planned variances toward continuous improvement
- Understand and stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape and sector activity
What you will need for this role :
- Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration or PRINCE2, Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent 2-year study in Project Management
- 12-15 years experience in managing a program or projects using standardized PMI and Agile methodologies, especially within the enterprise SaaS industry
- 2+ years as direct manager for one or more project managers
- Strong experience providing guidance and mentoring to agile teams
- Process driven mindset, detailed-oriented, rapid learner, enjoys trouble-shooting complex issues
- Strong aptitude in project skills; teamwork skills; strong desire to empower others
- Have experience influencing cross-functional teams, building relationships with stakeholders
- Have strong opinions, weakly held
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet or other standard Project Management tooling
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos, etc. is a plus
- CSM Certification is a plus
- Experience or knowledge of SAFe is a plus
