Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: -

To take action to maintain the existing plant machines and to restore it to an operating condition.

REPORTING: -

Reports to Manager Plant Maintenance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: -

• Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems.
• To ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the division.
• Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining EHS requirements and related documentations as per EHS policy.
• Reviews the operation of plant and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Responsible for inventory control of engineering spares.
• Effective utilization of Manpower.
• Prepares reports, analysis data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems
• Reviews the operation of plant and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime.

Other duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for CAPA implementation
• Responsible for conducting/facilitating internal and external audits
• Responsible for solving critical issues
• Responsible for validation and implementation of change control.
• Responsible for implementing root cause analysis, Productivity projects
• Responsible for empowering people by giving required training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: -

Education:

• B Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 to 4 years experience.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Experience in manufacturing sector.
• Risk based thinking
• Excellent technical skills
• Should be able to work in Cross Functional team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Basic Knowledge on ISO standards esp. ISO9001:2015 and ISO13485:2016, risk management.

Work Location : Puliyarakonam, Trivandrum

Shift : Rotational Shift including night shift
