Responsibilities Tasks and Responsibilities: Validate and process fixed asset additions in Ariba, ensuring proper account coding and approvals. Administration of the fixed asset tagging procedures. Ensure all asset transfers are appropriately documented and reflected in SAP. Validate and process all asset disposals in the system, ensuring the proper accounting treatment. Maintain the fixed asset detail listing and reconciling to the general ledger on a Monthly basis, including posting of journal entries as necessary and other month-end close duties. Preparation of the fixed asset related metrics and KPIs Responsible for the creation of internal order numbers (statistical orders) in ERP (SAP) and Ariba workflows. Support the internal fixed asset process (DLRC) ensuring accounting is correct for all types, tracking and reporting. Responsible for maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley internal control narratives and testing documentation for areas of responsibilities. Participate in quarterly review and annual audit. All listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional tasks and responsibilities. Education and Experience Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. Strong Understanding of U.S. GAAP. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field required. CA, CPA a plus Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing ,
