Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Linux Application Developer with expertise in C++ to join our team. As a Linux Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing applications in a Linux environment. Your primary focus will be on developing applications and libraries using C++ and ensuring their functionality through unit testing and debugging. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to work with IBM Rational Rhapsody, GTest, and embedded systems in the automotive domain.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications based on Linux environment using C++.
• Develop and maintain libraries using C++.
• Perform unit testing and debugging of applications on a Linux platform.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the quality and performance of the developed applications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software development methodologies.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in programming in C++ 11.0.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and architecture, including knowledge of Design Patterns.
• Experience using Linux-based compilation and debug tools such as GCC and GDB.
• Ability to conduct manual unit testing and familiarity with tool-based unit testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of IBM Rational Rhapsody for software development.
• Exposure to working with GTest for unit testing.
• Familiarity with various design patterns.
• Experience with embedded systems and related communication protocols.
• Exposure to the automotive domain.
