Job Description
- The position will focus on design influence for reliability, maintainability, and availability utilizing techniques including RM allocations and predictions (MTBF MTBUR), Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) Maintain systems configuration in Windchill Quality Solutions for new product (LRU) designs
- Participate in design reviews during new product development to ensure robustness of LRU design and manufacturing processes
- Review System Safety Assessments per compliance with FAR/JAR 25.1309 Perform statistical data analysis, Weibull analysis, reliability target setting, warranty trend analysis and direct maintenance costs calculations for new products

Understand IFEC product line and customer reliability requirements for in service activity.

Knowledge on hardware and understand product life cycle.

Understand the LRUs field removals, repairs data and capable data analyzing.

Good knowledge in reliability terminology MTBF,MTBUR,GMTBUR,MTTF,NFF, repairs and removals reasons

Lead, track and report on all on-going assignment on the product

Capable of drive different tools and automation for the project requirement Proactively take ownership of identified issues to analyze, characterize, investigate, and root-cause reported system issues.

Setup, coordinate and execute the troubleshooting action plan.

The person in this position is expected to work with minimal supervisory direction and will be required to interface with program managers, and all engineering disciplines

The person The person in this should have prior experience with In-service reliability Analysis

Have an ownership, curious and solution oriented mindset. Willingness to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Highly organized individual with the ability to plan, track priorities, and co-ordinate resolution of engineering issues in a fast paced and demanding context

Good verbal and written communication skills and capacity to adapt communication to interlocutor (Engineering teams, Customers, Program Management, Field/Repair Shop personnel). Ability to synthetize complex issues in a clear and understandable manner.

Good knowledge on basic reliability terminology MTBF, MTBUR, MTTF and application

The person in this should have prior experience with completing reliability analysis (MTBUR/MTBF), reliability predictions using PTC Windchill, FMEA and FTA analysis

Familiarity with design of experiments (DOE) desired

Knowledge of analysis methodologies such as Reliability Predictions, Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and FRACAS.

Proficient with MS Office tools including Access, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Ability to interact with a wide range of customer groups, both internal and external

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Field or airline engineering experience is a plus
-
Prior experience in In-Flight Entertainment Systems and Inflight Connectivity services is an added advantage
