Job Title: Process Engineering Consultant Job Location: Bangalore (Manyata Tech Park) - Work From Office Key Responsibilities: Technical Delivery Provide technical consulting and strategic advisory on process engineering best practices, with a focus on advanced digital applications. Develop and implement AI-driven models for predictive analytics, process optimization, and anomaly detection in Oil & Gas facilities. Lead the integration of digital twin technology with real-time plant operations, enhancing monitoring, simulation, and forecasting. Support the deployment of intelligent process automation, ML-based forecasting, and operational analytics solutions. Analyze and enhance existing process control strategies, including Advanced Process Control (APC), Real-Time Optimization (RTO), and Dynamic Simulation. Conduct hydraulic analysis for water and steam networks to improve system performance and reliability. Perform energy studies, compressor surge analysis, flare analysis, compressor analysis, and pinch analysis to optimize plant performance. Explore and contribute to the development of disruptive technologies, including autopilot, copilot, and autonomous operations for refineries and petrochemical plants. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, OT, and data science, to develop innovative digital applications. Engage with clients, engineers, and operations teams to understand challenges and propose AI-driven solutions. Influence decision-making at various organizational levels by demonstrating the value of digital transformation initiatives. Participate in industry forums, conferences, and discussions to stay ahead of emerging technologies and best practices. Technical Skills : Process simulation software: Aspen HYSYS, OLGA, ROMeo, Dynsim, GDOT, Imubit, OLIsystems. Data analytics & AI tools: Experience in AI/ML-driven predictive modeling and operational analytics. Industrial platforms: IIoT, cloud-based industrial platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), edge computing. Enterprise plant historians: PI System, Honeywell PHD, and their integration with AI models. Industrial automation protocols: OPC UA, MQTT, etc. Regulatory compliance: Understanding of safety and regulatory standards in Oil & Gas process plants. Education & Experience Bachelor's or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on digital transformation and advanced applications in the Oil & Gas sector. Expertise in real-time optimization (RTO), dynamic simulation, and hydraulic analysis for water and steam networks.
