Display exemplary leadership qualities to drive the PURCHASE / PROCUREMENT function in alignment with the Organisations strategic goal key talent criteria:- Proven ability to undertake cost-effective procurement of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and other Machinery / Equipment
- Possess sharp negotiation skills and acumen to obtain the most favorable pricing options
- Expertise in Vendor Management new supplier development and classification
- Develop effective coordination & working relationships between Purchase and Logistics Teams handling Exports & Imports activity
- Possess good domain knowledge of ERP Systems, Inventory Management and Governmental regulations for movement of material
- Conduct periodic Audits of Vendors and Logistics Suppliers
- Undertake trouble-shooting actions, specifically for procurement and movement of critical products
Experience: 15Yrs+Experience in the Purchase / Procurement function in large manufacturing entities, preferably Chemical. KRA 's will be bulk procurement,raw materials,packaging materials,import,supply chain.
