the Residential Nurse - Night Shift Key Notes: Residential candidates are preferred. Food and accommodation will be provided. The age of the candidate can range up to 55 years. The job environment is a hostel in a non-clinical setting, non-hospital setting and the children are in the care of residential wardens for all other daily activities. This is a pediatric care role that is non-clinical and is not in a hospital setting. Accommodation and food will be provided by the institution. Key Responsibilities: Nursing night duty involves 2 or 3 rounds to monitor children, especially those who are unwell with fever, or other non-critical issues. Nursing duty includes taking children to the hospital when unwell and monitoring them while recuperating. Nursing duty involves spreading awareness on hygiene and health and helping them to form healthy, hygienic and self-care habits. Nursing duty involves attender duty with a hospitalised child for night shifts. Nursing duty involves administering prescribed medication. Assisting with daily activities to ensure comfort and well-being. Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in nursing Experience above 2 years in a clinical setting. Licensure as a registered nurse Fluency in spoken and written Tamil. General Nursing and Midwidery/ Assistant Nursing and Midwifery / BSc Nursing Work.
