Title: Sr Mgr, IT - Cloud Solutions & Archtecture

Location: Bangalore

Your Role

Global Senior Manager responsible for the development, implementation and maintain cloud automated solutions architecture for public and hybrid cloud models, including SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services in a large global environment that supports both business and customer needs. This role is primarily responsible for global cloud enterprise solutions.

Ability to provide broad and deep technical leadership and cohesive architecture approaches for strategic efforts. Technical depth in customer facing systems from an application, infrastructure, operations, scalability, availability, performance, people, process, and tooling perspective.

What you ll be doing

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the Cloud hosting Architecture operating budget including managing both Capital and Expense spend.
• Understand the organization's IT business vision and develop Cloud IT Strategy and standards.
• Deliver priority of enterprise level solutions for Baxter.
• Account for continuous improvement opportunities including automation of processes
• Respond to Business continuity, Audit, Regulatory and business customer requests
• Contribute to wider Technology initiatives and innovations
• Working closely with Third Party product vendors
• Provide recommendations on value-added cloud architectural improvements / enhancements

What you ll bring

• Significant IT experience (10 to 15 years of relevant work experience), with at least 5 years as a manager or equivalent role
• Experience managing a budget of at least $5M+
• Typically possesses 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years as a manager or equivalent role
• Strong track record in managing infrastructure
• Strong experience with Cloud Hosting; AWS or Azure
• Strong experience with DevOps projects and automation
• Good understanding knowledgeable in IT service management tools and processes
• Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders
• Requires advanced technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/technologies/processes
• Experience with organizational improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
• Experience with Agile development processes and methodologies
• Provide support to the stakeholders, including automation of processes.
• Project management / project leadership experience a plus
• A solid background of Digital Transformation, Agile, Data and Cloud related platforms is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Behavior Required:

• In depth knowledge of IT operations in a regulated environment, preferably med tech
• Demonstrated enterprise thinking, with ability to influence and collaborate in a global, matrixed environment
• Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT Service Management, and EA and ITIL frameworks
• Excellent communication skills in writing and verbally to a varying audience
• Strong project management skills and experience
• Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities & initiatives, quickly changing priorities, and high customer expectations.
• Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills
• Proven time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proven ability to successfully work in a matrix team environment that presents significant change and tight timeframes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor s and/or Master s degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration. Masters preferred.
• Preferred to have certifications for this position: Cloud Solutions Architect, Cloud DevOps CCNP, CCNA,
