    Job Title: Air Freight Manager Sales & Pricing Location: Delhi Reports To: [Head of Air Freight / Sales Director] Company Name: SJ Shipping & Logistics Pvt Ltd Position Overview: SJ Shipping & Logistics Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Air Freight Manager with 6 to 8 years of experience in air freight operations, sales, and pricing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales and pricing strategies for our air freight products, developing and managing the overall air freight product offering, and driving profitability and market share growth. The candidate will work closely with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to optimize service offerings and meet client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue in the air freight sector. Manage relationships with key customers and prospects, identifying their air freight needs and offering tailored solutions. Actively seek new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the air freight market. Work with the sales team to meet individual and team sales targets. Pricing & Rate Management: Oversee the development and execution of competitive and profitable pricing strategies for air freight services. Work with suppliers, airlines, and freight forwarders to negotiate favorable rates and terms for both inbound and outbound shipments. Regularly review and update pricing models to ensure alignment with market trends and customer expectations. Ensure pricing accuracy and ensure alignment with customer contracts and company policies. Product Development: Develop and enhance the overall air freight product portfolio to meet evolving customer requirements and market demand. Work with internal departments such as operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless service delivery. Research industry trends and emerging technologies to innovate and continuously improve the air freight product offering. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Address client inquiries and resolve issues related to air freight shipments and pricing in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations exceeded. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate with the operations, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure air freight products are delivered efficiently and in line with customer specifications. Provide training and support to internal teams on air freight product offerings, sales strategies, and pricing policies. Work closely with the marketing department to promote air freight services and improve product visibility. Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to continuously refine sales and pricing strategies. Analyze profitability of air freight services and make recommendations to optimize margins and revenue. Prepare regular sales, pricing, and market analysis reports for senior management. Contract Management: Lead the negotiation and management of contracts with air carriers, freight forwarders, and key customers. Ensure all contracts comply with company standards and industry regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 6-8 years of experience in air freight operations, sales, and pricing within the logistics or freight forwarding industry. Strong understanding of air freight pricing models, cost structures, and profitability analysis. Proven experience in managing sales pipelines and achieving revenue targets. Strong knowledge of the air freight industry, including airline relationships, industry regulations, and product offerings. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data, market trends, and customer needs to optimize sales and product strategies. Proficiency in using air freight management software, CRM tools, and MS Office Suite. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Working Conditions: Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, site visits, or industry events. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
