    Job Title: Sous Chef South Indian Location: Bangalore Department: Kitchen Operations Reports to: Executive Chef Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our vibrant Nati-style restaurant, specializing in traditional and innovative dishes that celebrate authentic flavours. The ideal candidate will support the Sous and Executive Chefs in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, maintaining a positive kitchen environment, and upholding health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Kitchen Leadership: Assist the Executive Chef in leading and managing the kitchen team during service. Supervise line cooks, prep cooks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Ensure food is prepared, plated, and presented consistently to restaurant standards. Menu Development & Quality Control: Collaborate in crafting authentic Nati-style dishes and seasonal menu specials. Ensure ingredients and flavours are in line with traditional Nati-style culinary practices. Maintain high standards for taste, texture, and presentation. Operational Efficiency: Monitor kitchen inventory and work with suppliers to source high-quality, fresh ingredients. Assist in scheduling kitchen staff and overseeing food prep activities. Control food waste and optimize portioning to maintain profitability. Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold cleanliness and hygiene practices in compliance with food safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections of food storage, kitchen stations, and equipment. Ensure kitchen staff adhere to sanitation protocols and safe food handling techniques. Training & Development: Support the training and development of kitchen staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and feedback to foster a positive team environment. Requirements: Proven experience as a Jr. Sous Chef or senior kitchen position in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Deep understanding of Nati-style cuisine and cooking techniques. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations. Certification in culinary arts or related field (preferred). Food safety and sanitation certification (preferred).,
