- Job Title: Financial Controller with Experience in Accounting & Audit-Qualified CA Location: [Kolkata-Sector 5] CTC Range: Upto 32.0 L/A Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant Years of Experience: 10 years and above About the Company: They are the largest Cable and Conductor Manufacturer & Exporter in Eastern India, with a strong foothold in EPC projects pan-India. Job Summary: As a Financial Controller, you will oversee and manage the financial operations of the company. Your primary responsibilities will include financial reporting, managing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and overseeing the audit processes. You will collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights that guide strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure financial statements comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations. Perform regular financial analysis to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement. Accounting & Budgeting: Prepare and manage annual budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and suggesting corrective actions. Ensure efficient and effective internal controls over financial processes and reporting. Audit and Compliance: Lead the internal and external audit processes, coordinating with auditors and ensuring timely completion. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate governance, and other legal requirements. Monitor and assess internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Financial Strategy & Advisory: Provide financial insights to senior leadership, advising on business strategies, cost control, and investment opportunities. Identify financial risks and provide mitigation strategies. Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital expenditures. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, ensuring their development and performance alignment with company goals. Conduct performance reviews and support training and skill development within the finance department.
