- Company Description Meeka Engineering Services is a licensed engineering firm based in Corpus Christi, TX. We offer various services, from design to implementation, to address unique process engineering needs. We aim to deliver projects on time, under budget, and exceeding client expectations. Role Description This is a contract role for a senior-level chemical process engineer. The position is in Vadodara, India, and allows for remote work. The chemical process engineer will be responsible for process design and control and will work in the chemical industry. Qualifications A bachelors degree in chemical engineering and an advanced degree are a plus. 10 to 15 years of proven hands-on experience as a process engineer operating and supporting pilot scale units and/or chemical processes. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of building Macros. Understanding of separation technologies, especially Absorption/Stripping, and distillation. Experience executing FEED projects, preferable LNG projects. Proficiency in process engineering software tools, such as HYSYS, Aspen Plus, and PipeSim, for process simulation and analysis. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Most of their experience is with a major EPC company and not at a production facility. Familiar with reading PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment datasheets Process Design and Process Control skills Experience in the Chemical Industry Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Experience and proficiency in project management. Ability to manage cross-functional workstreams. Good communication skills to interact with suppliers and potential customers.,
