Job Description

Sr. Software Engineer - FinTech Company - Chennai

Experience: 6 12 years
Location: Chennai
Education: MCA or equivalent

Reporting to: CTO

Job Role:

• Maintain Teamwork and make sure about deliverables.
• Provide support to clients from client interaction and requirements analysis through design, coding, implementation and integration.
• Keep track of the assigned task to each team member and help them to meet timelines.
• Generate SSRS and RDLC reports.
• Development of the database, procedures, functions, etc.
• Fixing of bugs coming out of unit testing and Integration testing.
• Work with team members to improve performance by providing the required changes.
• Performs or assists developers in the analysis and debugging of application issues quickly and effectively
• Provide ongoing application support and troubleshooting.

• Visualisation Tools like Tableau / Power BI / QLik

Requirement:

• IT Experience in Database Design, Development of business intelligence applications in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 /2014 environments of products like SSRS, SSIS and Microsoft .net technologies.
• Experience on domains like Insurance, and Inventory along with Multitasking ability to plan and prioritize the complex project work under aggressive timelines.
• Ability to work with business users to take requirements and translate them into technical designs to facilitate BI reports and analytics.
• Direct interaction with Project Management and System Managers throughout the SDLC including time estimates and status reports and completion.
• Experience in analysis, design and development, testing and implementation of the web application.
• Experience in SSRS reports using SQL queries and Fetching data from multiple systems using SSIS.
• Assigned daily employee tasks and monitored activity and completion.
• Extensive involvement in coordination of requirement gathering and team handling.
• Ability to work in cross-cultural, multi-ethnic environments and under pressure.
• Possessing excellent communication and collaboration skills to lead and work in concert with diverse groups effectively and communicating ideas clearly and effectively.
