Follow standardized recipes for consistency and quality, ensuring that the taste and appearance remain the same across large batches. Assist in the preparation of ingredients (grinding spices, making batters, preparing chutneys, etc.) for large-scale production. Maintaining Quality Standards: Ensure that food is prepared according to the required standards of quality and consistency. Monitor and maintain food temperature, texture, and presentation, especially when preparing dishes in bulk. Inspect food items for quality control and ensure compliance with safety regulations for the preservation of food. Inventory and Ingredient Management: Help manage and organize the storage of raw materials and ingredients in a central kitchen setting. Monitor stock levels of key ingredients like rice, lentils, spices, and oil used in South Indian cooking. Assist in the stock rotation process to prevent spoilage, using ingredients in the order they were received and maintaining FIFO (First In, First Out) standards. Hygiene and Sanitation: Ensure that the kitchen, workstations, and all equipment are clean and sanitized at all times.
