- Position: Accountant Location: Sec-63, Noida (Onsite) Working Timings: 06:30 pm to 02:30 am, Monday Friday (EST hours) Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 3-8 years of experience to join our accounts team in Sector-63, Noida. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge and experience in General Accounting preferably with US Accounting, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work flexibly according to US Eastern Standard Time (EST). This is an excellent opportunity for a someone with limited experience to grow their career in accounting while working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Need to have strong communication skills. Roles & Responsibilities: General Accounting: Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles. Perform day-to-day accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balance preparation. Month-End Closing: Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. Prepare and post adjusting entries as required. Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts under the guidance of senior team members. Assist in budgeting and variance analysis. QuickBooks Assistance: Gain hands-on experience with QuickBooks for day-to-day financial operations. Learn to troubleshoot and resolve basic QuickBooks-related issues. MS Excel Utilization: Use MS Excel for data entry, basic financial analysis, and creating spreadsheets to support accounting processes. Pricing and Market Data Support: Assist in analyzing market salary data surveys and preparing labor category (LCAT) rate analysis. Support proposal pricing activities by reviewing competitor data and providing inputs for pricing strategies. Audit and Compliance Support: Collaborate with the team during internal and external audits. Learn about US financial regulations and compliance requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather financial data and support decision-making processes. Time Zone Flexibility: Work flexible hours to align with US EST time zone, ensuring effective communication with the US-based team. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. General Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in general accounting principles and practices. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus. Proficiency in MS Excel for data entry and basic financial analysis. Learning Attitude: Willingness to learn and grow in the field of accounting, particularly in US GAAP and financial regulations. Time Management: Ability to manage tasks effectively and adapt to US EST working hours. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility: Ready to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory): Familiarity with US GAAP or exposure to US accounting standards. Basic understanding of pricing strategies and market data analysis.
