The Market Research Manager is responsible for generating strategic market intelligence to support brand onboarding, expansion feasibility, distributor and trade performance analytics, and AI-powered market expansion automation. This role provides data-driven insights to Scale Globals structured MarketSense LaunchPilot Scale360 model while working on developing AI-driven expansion intelligence solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Market Expansion Intelligence & Brand Onboarding Support Conduct MarketSense assessments for brand partners, analyzing category trends, demand validation, and competitive benchmarking. Provide pricing, trade margin, and distributor benchmarking reports to guide commercial negotiations. Support in assessing new market feasibility, ensuring brands align with local consumer demand and competitive positioning. 2. AI-Powered Market Expansion Solution Development Define data models and intelligence frameworks required to power AI-driven expansion automation tools. Work with the Product Manager and AI/Tech team to refine the automated Market Readiness and fit Assessment framework. Identify and structure regulatory, pricing, and trade datasets to enhance AI-based decision-making. Develop a compliance risk-scoring system in partnership with RegNova to automate regulatory feasibility analysis. Test and refine AI models based on real-world market expansion outcomes. 3. Consumer, Trade, & Distributor Intelligence Build distributor & trade analytics dashboards to track sell-through rates, retailer stocking patterns, and pricing sensitivities. Analyze distributor effectiveness across markets and provide actionable recommendations for expansion refinements. Provide brand-level consumer insights, tracking digital engagement, market penetration, and retail visibility. Develop category & retail trend reports to optimize brand positioning in key markets. 4. Post-Launch Performance Monitoring & Data Feedback Loops Create a structured post-launch insights framework to monitor brand expansion success. Track key KPIs, including sales velocity, distributor adoption rates, and consumer demand shifts. Provide ongoing performance data to refine Scale Globals MarketSense LaunchPilot Scale360 model. Ensure data-driven insights continuously feed into AI model improvements. 5. Centralized Expansion Intelligence Repository Development Lead the creation of a knowledge hub for Market Expansion, Brand, and Regulatory teams. Ensure seamless access to competitor benchmarking, distributor performance reports, and category insights. Work with internal stakeholders to standardize data collection, visualization, and real-time reporting. Qualifications: 6-12 years experience in market research, intelligence, or strategic analytics, preferably in health, beauty, nutraceuticals, or FMCG sectors. Strong expertise in market expansion, competitive intelligence, and trade research. Proficiency in data modeling, business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, etc.), and AI-driven analytics. Ability to structure regulatory intelligence and distributor analytics into predictive models. Cross-functional collaboration experience with Product, Market Expansion, Brand Marketing, and Regulatory Teams. Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
