So, we are excited to share a job opening for Data QA Engineer with you for our client.
Please find mentioned below the job description:
Years of Experience: 3-5 years
Location: Gurgaon
Hybrid Mode (3 days WFO and 2 days WFH)
Shift timings: 12 noon - 8:30PM /3PM - 11:30PM
Responsibilities of the role:
- Understands the business need and their pain areas.
- Understands data and its inputs/output and business value.
- Finds the most time efficient way to perform the data validation with 0 data validation errors.
- Static analysis in early phases of SDLC to find out gaps in requirements that leads to Change requests in later part of projects
- Performs data processing and ETL in a timely manner, with data outputs that comply with high quality standards
- Inspects, questions and scrutinizes data inputs we use - that come from other teams or third parties - to ensure we arent receiving faulty data
- Ensures Data Quality Standards are efficient, reliable and properly assessed and reported against data quality standards.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Reviews requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback from a QA and end user perspective
- Provides a low level of data quality awareness across multiple feeds/ channels.
- Identifies, record, document thoroughly and track bugs as per defect management process
- QA Reporting to clients on emails and on calls.
What you will need:
- 3+ years of experience
- BE/MCA/B-Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering
- Proven working experience in software quality assurance domain
- Inclination to think mathematically and scrutinize data integrity
- Experience with data quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Excel
- Pivot tables, V-Look Ups, Formulas, Formatting, Macros
- Strong written and oral communication skills as there will be direct communication with the end customers for QA reporting.
DB
- Knowledge of SQL to validation & prepare test data in the DB (MySQL, SQL)
- Experience with Alteryx is a plus
