Job Description: Were seeking a skilled Physical Layer/Baseband Processing Engineer to design and implement waveforms for our wireless communication system (Basic and Advanced versions). Youll develop FHSS and FHSS-OFDM waveforms, implement them on TI DSPs, and collaborate with our RF team to deliver a rugged. This is a hands-on role in a lean, high-impact team. Responsibilities: Design and develop FHSS waveforms (500 hops/s, QPSK) for the Basic version, targeting half-duplex operation at 2 Mbps. Create FHSS-OFDM waveforms (64 subcarriers) for the Advanced version, enabling full-duplex transmission over 5 MHz bandwidth. Port waveforms from MATLAB simulations to TI DSPs (e.g., C55x for Basic, C6748 for Advanced)20-50 MFLOPS optimisation. Implementing the designed waveform on TI DSPs. Ensure waveform synchronisation (<1 s jitter) and anti-jamming performance (13 db gain vs. 20 j s).collaborate with the rf engineer to integrate waveforms hardware (hackrf, ad9361). qualifications: b.tech m.tech in ece,electrical engineering, or related field from a reputed institute . 7+ years of experience physical layer design baseband processing for wireless systems. proficiency waveform development (fhss, ofdm, qpsk)matlab c required. hands-on ti dsps (e.g., c55x, c6748)ti code composer studio expertise. knowledge systems (350-450 mhz) defence-grade techniques. familiarity wpc dot regulations is plus. strong problem-solving skills ability work lean, fast-paced team. how apply:send your resume brief cover letter hidden_email (mailto:hidden_email) with Physical Layer Engineer in the subject line by April 10, 2025.
