Job Description
- Key Responsibilities Bodywork Design: Assist in the conceptualization, design, and engineering of body panels made from sheet metal and plastic, ensuring optimal aerodynamics, aesthetics, and structural integrity. Seat Design: Participate in the design and engineering of seats, focusing on ergonomics, functionality, and aesthetics. Lighting Design: Design and engineer lighting systems, including headlights, taillights, and indicators, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Switchgear Design: Assist in the design and engineering of switchgear, focusing on ergonomics, functionality, and aesthetics. Utilize CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA to create detailed 2D/3D design drawings and models for all components. Select appropriate materials for each component, considering factors like weight, cost, strength, and specific manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Work closely with suppliers to source quality materials and components. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to contribute to efficient manufacturing processes. Conduct rigorous testing and validation to enhance the performance, safety, and visual appeal of the product. Stay updated with the latest advancements in materials science, lighting technologies, and manufacturing techniques relevant to electric two-wheeler bodyworks and accessories. Qualifications And Skills Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA. Foundational understanding of material science, particularly as it relates to sheet metal, plastics, and lighting materials. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
