Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify AI opportunities.
- Design, develop, and implement AI solutions, including machine learning models, deep learning networks, and natural language processing applications and develop AI models, algorithms, and systems to analyze and interpret complex biological and pharmaceutical data.
- Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows to efficiently collect, preprocess, and store large-scale datasets for AI training and evaluation.
- Implement and fine-tune state-of-the-art machine learning models and deep learning architectures for tasks such as image analysis, natural language processing, and predictive modeling.
- Apply statistical techniques and data visualization methods to analyze and interpret AI model outputs and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and reliability, considering computational constraints and regulatory requirements and Security.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training and validation.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI models into production systems, ensuring seamless deployment and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related technologies, and evaluate their potential applications within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical domains.
- Contribute to the development of AI-related best practices, standards, and guidelines within the organization.
- Participate in scientific and technical discussions, presenting findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Evaluate and analyze the performance of AI models and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and industry best practices to ensure our AI solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for AI models and systems.
- Communicate complex AI concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on AI, machine learning, or data science.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, along with experience in software development practices (version control, testing, debugging).
- Proven experience(5+ Years) in building and deploying AI solutions, including machine learning models and deep learning networks.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex and open-ended problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Knowledge of natural language processing techniques and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Passion for staying current with AI research and developments.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with AI model deployment in production environments.
- Knowledge of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
