- Shri Viratra Engineering is a leading manufacturer of fully automatic dal mill plants and food processing machinery. We are committed to designing innovative and high-performance solutions for the food processing industry. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge machinery. Key Responsibilities Product Design & Development: Design and develop mechanical components and systems for food processing machinery using CAD software. Blueprints & Documentation: Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models for manufacturing. Prototyping: Collaborate with the production team to build and test prototypes, ensuring alignment with design specifications. Design Optimization: Analyze existing designs and suggest improvements to enhance performance, durability, and cost efficiency. Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials for manufacturing, considering strength, cost, and functionality. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and procurement to ensure successful project execution. Troubleshooting: Resolve design-related issues during production or installation. Standards Compliance: Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality guidelines. Requirements Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the manufacturing or food processing machinery industry. Skills: Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and material properties. Knowledge of FEA and other design validation techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
