Role and Responsibilities: As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for both frontend and backend development tasks. You will work closely with the project team to develop, customize, and maintain WordPress-based websites and web applications. Frontend Development: Implement visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Integrate and customize WordPress themes as per project requirements. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and website responsiveness across devices. Work with design files (e.g., PSD, Sketch) and convert them into WordPress themes. Backend Development: Develop and customize WordPress plugins and themes to meet project needs. Perform regular updates and maintain WordPress sites and plugins. Optimize website performance and implement best practices for website security. Troubleshoot and debug issues related to the WordPress environment. Integrate third-party services and APIs as required. Ensure database management and migration tasks are performed effectively. Key Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years of experience in WordPress development, both frontend and backend. Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL. Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development, as well as troubleshooting and debugging. Strong understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and core functionality. Familiarity with WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery). Technical Skills: Expertise in creating responsive, mobile-friendly websites. Hands-on experience with WordPress multisite. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization. Understanding of web security principles and methods to prevent vulnerabilities. Additional Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
