Role Overview We are currently looking for a Senior Drug Discovery Chemist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in North East of England. As the Senior Drug Discovery Chemist, you will be responsible for advancing ADC programs from early discovery through to clinical development, contributing to the design and synthesis of novel therapeutic agents. Key Duties And Responsibilities Your duties as the Senior Drug Discovery Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including biology, pharmacology, and clinical development, to drive programs forward effectively. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely progression through the drug discovery pipeline. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior chemists, fostering a culture of scientific excellence and innovation. Role Requirements To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Drug Discovery Chemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: Relevant degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a related discipline.
