Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and imaginative Senior Environment Artist who can bring photorealistic and creative 3D environments to life using Unreal Engine and other industry-standard tools. The ideal candidate must be technically proficient, artistically driven, and capable of executing environments that align with storyboards, moodboards, or original creative concepts. Key Responsibilities Create high-quality 3D environments from scratch in Unreal Engine, using either reference material or independent artistic direction. Collaborate with the creative team to translate storyboards or moodboards into fully realized 3D scenes. Lead scene composition, set dressing, lighting design, and final rendering with an emphasis on both quality and performance. Handle real-time rendering optimizations to ensure visually stunning output without compromising delivery timelines. Work closely with Unreal Engines Blueprint system, material creation, lighting systems, and level streaming. Manage the technical aspects of environment building including LODs, lighting passes, texture streaming, and occlusion culling. Collaborate with modeling and texturing teams; and when needed, contribute to texturing tasks, especially under tight deadlines. Use tools such as Maya and Cinema 4D to support environment and asset development pipelines depending on clients requirements. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a 3D Environment Artist, preferably in advertising or automotive CGI. Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine, especially lighting, level design, optimization, and Blueprints. Proficient in Maya and/or Cinema 4D for modeling, layout, and basic rigging. Strong eye for realism, aesthetics, and cinematic framing. Proven experience in lighting, set dressing, and render optimization. Understanding of photorealistic texturing and asset look development is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
