What You Will Do The position is responsible for- Providing leadership to Femcare Engineering function for IM & EM sites to plan and execute strategic projects, including management of process equipment installations, technology transfers, process automation, and digitization, following standards defined by respective Global Technology Platform Leaders. Engaging with the Global Web & Devices Platform Team to support, develop, and deploy equipment associated with Femcare. Managing resources and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors for seamless project execution across all India Strategic and Femcare IM & EM projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and on-budget delivery. Defining project scopes, setting objectives, ensuring technical feasibility, and involving all relevant stakeholders. Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress effectively. Ensuring proper resource allocation, availability, and performing risk management to mitigate project risks. Managing project changes in scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques. Measuring and reporting project performance using suitable systems, tools, and techniques, escalating issues as needed. Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing transparent communication and regular updates. Leading efforts to optimize operational efficiency through end-to-end digitalization, leveraging tools such as robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce errors, and improve productivity. Driving the adoption of data analytics tools to generate actionable insights from project data, improving decision-making across all project stages and enhancing predictability in project outcomes. Implementing automated quality control processes and monitoring systems (e.g., vision systems, IoT sensors) to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry standards. Developing and utilizing digital twin technology and simulation tools for virtual testing and optimization of processes, enabling proactive adjustments before physical implementation. Establishing real-time monitoring capabilities through IoT-enabled sensors and devices for tracking operational performance and system health, enabling timely interventions and minimizing downtime. Leveraging predictive analytics and machine learning for equipment maintenance, helping prevent unplanned downtime, reduce maintenance costs, and extend asset lifespan. Implementing collaborative digital platforms (e.g., cloud-based tools, knowledge repositories) for cross-functional teams to access real-time information, track project milestones, and foster knowledge sharing and innovation. Ensuring robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with digital standards for all automation systems, working closely with IT to safeguard data integrity and protect systems against cyber threats. Championing Industry 4.0 initiatives by integrating smart manufacturing technologies, including advanced robotics, AI-driven process control, and decentralized decision-making, to enhance operational agility and responsiveness. Required Qualifications- Graduate in Engineering/Technology. Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant business experience. Minimum of six (6) years of supervisory/people management experience with demonstrated success in performance management and development. Prior experience managing a site capital portfolio and Senior Manager role. Prior experience managing a cost center. Desired Qualifications- Educational background, preferably in the fields of Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Instrumentation engineering for technical project managers. Technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in project and maintenance. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities. Ability to work effectively and drive alignment in a matrix management environment through effective communication, collaboration, and influence.
