- Dear Candidate, We are currently hiring for PLC Programmer / Sr. PLC Programmer for Mumbai & Umargam (near Vapi) location with a leading Indian based Machine Manufacturer. Please find the JD and other details mentioned below - Requirement No. 1 Position:- PLC Programmer Location:- Umargam (near Vapi), Gujarat Experience:- 5 to 10 Years Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech. No. of Opening - 2 Requirement No. 2 Position:- Sr. PLC Programmer Location:- Mumbai, Maharashtra Experience:- 10 to 15 Years Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech. No. of Opening - 1 ROLE: 1. PLC Programming and Development Design, develop, and implement PLC programs using programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram. Develop customized automation solutions for specific industrial processes and applications. Debug and optimize PLC code to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. 2. Hardware and Software Configuration Configure and program PLC hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and seamless communication with other devices such as Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), sensors, and actuators. Conduct system integration tests to validate functionality and performance. 3. Troubleshooting and Maintenance Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex automation and control system issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing automation systems, ensuring sustained operational performance. 4. Industrial Automation Expertise Utilize expertise in industrial automation systems, motion control, robotics, and process optimization to design and improve automated workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative control solutions for production challenges. 5. Electrical and Control Systems Knowledge Interpret and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts to support system design and maintenance. Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations in all control system designs and implementations. 6. Communication and Documentation Prepare detailed technical documentation, including programming manuals, operational procedures, and system specifications. Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide project updates, training, and support. 7. Training and Certification Stay updated with advancements in PLC technologies and participate in relevant training programs. Obtain and maintain certifications in PLC programming or industrial automation (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens S7, or other recognized certifications). Qualifications and Skills: Proficiency in PLC Programming: Experience with leading platforms such as Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider Electric. Familiarity with Automation Systems: Knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, motion control, and production systems. Electrical and Design Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical wiring, schematics, and control panel design principles. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues under time constraints. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration and documentation. Certifications: Relevant certifications in PLC programming, industrial automation, or control systems engineering.
