Job Description
- Title: Technical Writer Company: SS Innovations Private Limited Location: Udyog Vihar, Phase-III, Gurgaon, Haryana Employment Type: Full Time Relevant Experience: 3+ Years Salary: As per Industry Standards Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain user manuals, parts manuals, and field service manuals for advanced surgical robotics devices. Write and edit technical documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards such as Simplified Technical English (STE 100). Collaborate with engineering, product design, and quality teams to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into concise, user-friendly documentation. Create detailed technical drawings and diagrams using SolidWorks and other CAD tools. Design and format technical publications using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign for journals, white papers, and research publications. Manage the documentation lifecycle, including version control, updates, and compliance with regulatory standards for medical devices. Ensure all documents meet company quality standards and external regulatory requirements. Leverage professional English writing skills to produce engaging and professional content for diverse audiences, including surgeons, field service engineers, and regulatory agencies. Maintain a repository of documents and ensure accessibility for cross-functional teams. Contribute to the development of high-impact research papers and articles for submission to leading journals and publications. Qualification Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field preferred). Strong familiarity with medical devices, surgical robotics, or electromechanical systems is highly desirable. Certification or proven expertise in Simplified Technical English (STE 100) preferred. Demonstrated experience in technical writing with a portfolio showcasing user manuals, technical guides, or published research papers. Proficiency in SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other technical drawing and publishing tools. Required Skills Exceptional attention to detail and ability to present technical information in a clear, concise, and accurate manner. Strong understanding of technical writing best practices, including structured content and visual communication techniques. Proficient in creating high-quality 2D/3D illustrations and technical diagrams. Excellent research and analytical skills to interpret complex technical information. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
