Job Description
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Lead the requirements gathering sessions with key business stakeholders to understand procurement, inventory, and materials management needs. Analyze business processes and translate them into functional specifications for SAP MM configuration. Document business requirements and ensure that they align with SAP MM capabilities. SAP MM Configuration & Optimization: Configure and customize the SAP Materials Management (MM) module to meet business needs, including procurement, inventory management, material master, and vendor master data. Implement and optimize processes for purchase orders (POs), goods receipts (GR), invoice verification (IV), and stock transfers. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules such as SAP SD, SAP WM, and SAP FICO to ensure seamless end-to-end process flows. Testing & Quality Assurance: Create test plans and lead unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP MM functionalities. Collaborate with business users to validate SAP MM configurations and resolve issues during testing. Provide support for bug fixes and troubleshooting during the testing and post-implementation phases. Documentation & Training: Document functional specifications, process flows, and configuration details. Create and maintain user manuals, training guides, and system documentation. Conduct training sessions for end users, focusing on SAP MM functionality and best practices. Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support to business users after SAP MM go-live, ensuring smooth operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP MM configuration and user queries. Monitor system performance and suggest optimizations to improve business processes. Business Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate SAP MM processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements. Work with business users to define and implement process improvements, reduce manual work, and automate tasks within SAP MM. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure that SAP MM configurations align with business needs. Communicate effectively with business users to understand their requirements and ensure the delivery of tailored SAP MM solutions. Lead or participate in project meetings to provide status updates, discuss requirements, and resolve issues. Information Security Related Responsibilities Handle assigned assets securely and maintain confidentiality of credentials. Report any data loss, potential breaches, or unauthorized access promptly. Comply with DynaTech IT&IS policies and participate in Cyber Security awareness training. Ensure responsible usage of access rights and follow security protocols in daily tasks. Key Skills & Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field. SAP MM Certification or related SAP training is highly desirable. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP MM business analysis or configuration. Experience with full-cycle SAP MM implementations or upgrades is preferred. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and newer versions of SAP is a plus. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP MM modules, including procurement, inventory management, material master, and vendor master configuration. Experience with SAP integration between MM and other modules such as SAP SD, SAP FICO, SAP WM, and SAP PM. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting SAP MM processes to resolve business issues. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to present and explain complex technical concepts to business users. Project Management Skills: Ability to manage small to medium-sized SAP MM projects and tasks. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines effectively. Business-Oriented: Ability to understand business needs and translate them into SAP MM solutions that add value to the organization. Process-Driven: Passion for improving business processes and optimizing SAP functionality to enhance operational efficiency. Detail-Oriented & Quality-Focused: Strong attention to detail in documentation, testing, and reporting. Collaborative: Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver SAP solutions.,
