- Job Title: IT Support - Networking Location : Dewas Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support professional with a strong background in networking to join our team. The IT Support - Networking role involves providing technical assistance, managing network infrastructure, and resolving connectivity issues to ensure smooth operations of the organizations network systems. Key Responsibilities: Network Maintenance & Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot the organizations network systems, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure network uptime and minimal disruptions by proactively identifying and addressing network issues. Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and system backups to ensure network security and stability. Technical Support: Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to internal users for network-related issues (e.g., connectivity, slow speeds, VPN access, etc.). Resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner, escalating more complex issues as needed. Maintain a knowledge base of common network issues and solutions for efficient problem resolution. Network Configuration & Setup: Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software. Support the setup of network devices such as routers, switches, modems, and firewalls. Configure and manage VPN, remote access, and secure connections for remote workers. Security & Troubleshooting: Monitor and enforce network security protocols, including setting up firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and securing Wi-Fi networks. Troubleshoot network performance and security issues, including slow speeds, latency, and unauthorized access. Perform regular audits and security checks to prevent vulnerabilities and breaches. Documentation & Reporting: Document network configurations, updates, and changes for future reference and troubleshooting. Maintain logs of network issues, resolutions, and network performance metrics. Generate reports on network health and issues for management. Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the network infrastructure integrates smoothly with other IT systems and services. Assist in training end-users on basic network troubleshooting and best practices for connectivity. Keep up to date with emerging network technologies and trends to ensure the network infrastructure remains competitive and secure. Note: Only candidates from Dewas locality will be considered.
