Job Description
- Job Title Data Scientist 4 Common accountabilities: Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members. Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments. Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations. Specific accountabilities: Transform data into insights to identify & quantify business opportunities. Solve business problems by employing machine learning, artifical intelligence, statistical learning, pattern recognition or high performance computing techniques: Collect and manage large data sets to perform complex data analysis. Implement data analysis algorithms on a large scale working closely with data engineering members Communicate and translate complicated results & their implications to business stakeholders. Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques. Identify data sources, both internal and external to Amadeus, and transform them into actionable insights that support fact-based decision making. Actively participate to a community of practice for data scientists.
